A self-contained view of aircraft position reports received directly over 1090 MHz.
An RTL-SDR at the centre of the reception ring supplies raw radio samples through rtl_tcp. Speedrail detects and decodes Mode S ADS-B messages locally, keeps active aircraft briefly in Redis, and fades them after their reports stop.
The interface does not use a commercial flight-tracking feed. Aircraft position, altitude, ground speed, track, identity, and trails appear only when this receiver hears enough valid messages to construct them.
